Message bearings / OEM crank and they are pretty rock solid. The OEM crank does not need to be replaced or machined if not out of spec even if it has 100k on it or if it comes out of a NA. Practically just drop in and go.

A remachined crank will not last on a high rwhp Z. The tolerances on a remachined crank w/clevite bearings are good for domestic motors and race cars .. but do not match the over engineering put into a Z32.

If the crank had to be remachined, chances are it came out of another motor that had a bearing problem.

FWIW : Z1, IPP, Ztuner, and Ash will not use a remachined crank in their engine builds especially if the intended application is for a high rwhp Z.

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag on each of their processes, they can speak for themselves ..
